THE OPEN: Bay Hill offers three qualifying spots

As play gets under way at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill (2-5 March), the best players on the PGA Tour will be vying for that $3.6 million winners cheque.

That's not the only big prize on offer this week, as the leading three players (not already exempt for The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool) who make the cut at Bay Hill will earn their ticket to the final major of the year.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard is the third event in The Open Qualifying Series. The final qualifying event will be the Genesis Scottish Open held in mid-July.

The 151st Open will be played at Royal Liverpool from 16-23 July 2023.
