TaylorMade Golf has added to its already impressive roster of talent with the addition of Oliver Hundebøll from Denmark.

The multi-year agreement will see Oliver play a full bag of TaylorMade equipment and golf ball as he enters the next stage of his career on the DP World Tour.

2023 will be Oliver’s rookie year on tour after graduating from the Challenge Tour by finishing eighth in the season-ending 2022 Road to Mallorca Rankings. Hundebøll came from five strokes behind on the final day to win his first Challenge Tour title at the 2022 Mangaung Open at Bloemfontein Golf Club in South Africa.

Turning professional in 2019, Oliver joined the Nordic Golf League winning quickly in his rookie year. He also made several starts on the Challenge Tour in 2019 but didn’t play a full schedule until 2021. Oliver quickly turned that into full playing status on the DP World Tour, after his win and three other top-5 finishes, in 2022.

Oliver Hundebøll said: “I’m really excited and proud to be joining Team TaylorMade. I’ve had TaylorMade clubs in my bag for as long as I can remember, so it really is a childhood dream come true. The decision was really easy for me, as right throughout the bag, from Stealth 2 driver to Spider GTX putter, I felt comfortable with every club, and the TP5x ball outperforms any ball I have ever tested. It’s also nice to know that wherever I play, I will have the support of the TaylorMade Tour Team making sure my equipment is ready for that week’s conditions.”

Mark Thistleton, TaylorMade Golf Tour Representative, said: “It’s going to be great to work closely with a player like Oliver regularly on the DPWT. We have watched his progress from afar over the past couple of seasons and have been impressed with how often he was able to play himself into contention. He is not afraid to shoot low scores and has all the signs of a top-class player. He has moved effortlessly into a whole bag of TaylorMade equipment and we are excited to grow this partnership from here and see how far he can now push himself to go.”

What’s in Oliver Hundebøll golf bag?

During pre-season testing in Dubai, the TaylorMade Tour Team tested various driver shafts to see if any of the new products or something different could produce better feel or numbers for Oliver. He found the new Accra TZ5 shaft was extremely consistent and combined with the new Stealth 2 Plus head was giving him the most optimal ball flight… high launch, low spin. The fairway woods specs from last year’s Stealth products seemed good, so Oliver chose to stick with them in the fairway woods, just dialling loft sleeve settings.
