Sam Burns landed a phenomenal victory at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play at the weekend, firing himself back into the top 10 in the world.

Burns saw off Scottie Scheffler in the morning's semi-final, defeating the world number one in extra holes. He then went on to an emphatic win in the final over Cameron Young, claiming the title with a 6&5 victory. During one stretch in the final, Burns racked up eight birdies in 10 holes.

Unbelievably, it was Burns' Match Play debut! The win was the 26-year-old's fifth on the PGA Tour, moving him up to eighth in the FedEx Cup.
