PING announces position as Official Apparel Supplier for the 2023 European Solheim Cup team

PING Apparel has announced that they will once again hold their position as the Official Apparel Supplier for the European Solheim Cup team for the upcoming 2023 event.
The tournament, which will be held at Finca Cortesin, Andalucía, Spain, will see the European team aiming to retain the Solheim Cup Trophy while dressed in PING's performance apparel from head-to-toe.
This is not the first time that PING Apparel has been involved in the Solheim Cup. In fact, they have had a long-standing relationship with the tournament since its inception in 1990, having played an integral role in the development of the event.
The Solheim Cup has a special place in PING's heart since it is named after Karsten and Louise Solheim, the founders of PING. Their continued investment in the tournament has enabled them to bridge the gap between fashion and performance, providing players with garments that are not only stylish but also functional.
Lisa Lovatt, Managing Director of PING Europe, said: “We are excited to continue our journey with the Solheim Cup as Official Apparel Supplier of Team Europe once again. This contest is one we all hold close to our hearts, so to play a part in its progression is incredibly special.
“The women’s game has seen some of its biggest growth to date over the last few years, and our passion for supporting where we can has only strengthened.”
Fiona Reilly, Global Creative Director for PING, said: “Contributing to this globally renowned event is something the entire PING team are proud of.
“As a team, we have produced tournament garments that are engineered for every weather eventuality and situation, to ensure the team is well equipped throughout the week.
“It has been fantastic to work alongside European captain, Suzann Pettersen, on the design of the team outfits and we’re confident we’ve created a technically impressive uniform.
European captain, Suzann Pettersen, said, “It’s been brilliant working with the entire team at PING on our current apparel. It’s important to look good, but also to feel good. In all products, we have excellent technical material that will give the players a great sense of stretch and dynamics in their golf swing.”
