Nacho Elvira, Kalle Samooja, and Marc Warren have secured their spots in The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool through the Made in HimmerLand tournament.


The competition heated up as Elvira finished tied for first place on 13-under-par with the already exempt Rasmus Højgaard. The home fans witnessed Højgaard prevail in a six-hole playoff with the Spaniard, clinching his fourth title on the DP World Tour.


Elvira, a talented golfer, will be making his first appearance in a major championship when he tees it up at The Open. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, and he will undoubtedly give it his all on the grand stage.


Joining Elvira at The Open will be Kalle Samooja and Marc Warren. Both players performed exceptionally well, finishing in a tie for fourth place on 11-under-par. Their impressive performances alongside the already exempt Alexander Björk and Robert MacIntyre secured their spots in the prestigious tournament.
