At the weekend, American Brooks Koepka became the first active LIV Golf League member to lift a major trophy after he claimed the 2023 US PGA Championship in dramatic style.
With the 105th US PGA Championship now in the rear view mirror, LIV Golf fans turn their attention to the 7th event of the LIV season, which is being hosted at Trump National Washington D.C.
LIV Golf DC will take place between 26-28 May, 2023. This year is the first official season of the LIV Golf League, with a 14-tournament schedule being hosted in seven different countries.
Venue
The tournament will be played at Trump National Washington D.C., a par 72, 7,479 yard course, which forms part of the Trump chain of golf clubs. The prestigious course, which has previously hosted the Senior PGA Championship, is located on the northwestern outskirts of the capital of the United States and is regarded as one of the most challenging venues in that part of the country.

Purse / Format
The total purse for the tournament is $25 million - $20 million for the individual event ($4 million to the winner) and $5 million for the team event ($3 million to the winning team). As per norm, the event will be played over 54 holes with 12 teams and including 48 players.

Team Rosters

Fresh of his major win, Brooks Koepka will be straight back into action this week, hoping to secure his second LIV trophy of the season. Reserve player Laurie Canter will once again take the spot on the Majesticks GC team for the injured Sam Horsfield.
Paul Casey withdrew from the US PGA Championship last weekend due to injury and looks set to continue to sit on the sidelines for LIV DC. Taking his place in the Crushers GC will be Andy Ogletree.
