JON RAHM JOINS: Two-Time Major Winner and Masters Champion Joins LIV Golf

LIV Golf made it official today, revealing that Jon Rahm, the two-time major winner and reigning Masters champion, has joined their elite roster of golfers.


Rahm will make his debut in the LIV Golf League next season, commencing on February 2-4, 2024, at LIV Golf Mayakoba in Mexico.


Regarded as one of the most dominant players in the last decade, Rahm, at the age of 29, has left an indelible mark on the global golfing stage. The Spanish golfer has clinched an impressive 20 victories, including the prestigious 2023 Masters, the 2021 U.S. Open, and the DP World Tour Championship three times (in 2017, 2019, and 2022).


Rahm has had the honour of representing Team Europe in three consecutive Ryder Cups, playing a pivotal role in their triumph in 2018 and the most recent 2023 edition. Over the course of this year, Rahm claimed four titles, finishing runner-up in the 151st Open Championship and securing fifth place in the DP World Tour Championship.

Throughout his illustrious career, Rahm has notched an extraordinary 93 top-10 finishes, receiving several accolades along the way. Notably, he was named the 2021 PGA of America Player of the Year, received the prestigious European Tour (DP World Tour) Golfer of the Year award twice, and emerged as the 2019 European Tour Race to Dubai Winner.


Even before turning professional, Rahm established himself as a force to be reckoned with, holding the esteemed title of the world's No. 1-ranked amateur for an exceptional 60 weeks. During his college years at Arizona State University, he twice secured the Ben Hogan Award, distinguishing him as the nation's top collegiate golfer.
