With the second major of the year underway, COBRA Golf have released a new, Limited Edition PGA Championship Staff Bag.
The design of Cobra’s PGA Championship staff bag borrows elements from Oak Hill’s famed Tudor style clubhouse, with a brick pattern on the side panel and ivy growing into the Cobra logo.
The city of Rochester used to be known as the “flour city,” due to the abundance of flour mills in the area, and accordingly hints of wheat are sprinkled throughout the bag’s design. Colors like Old Gold, Brick, Tudor, and Log provide a timeless feel, which is appropriate for a course so rich in history.
This will be the seventh major contested at Oak Hill in Rochester, NY, as the Donald Ross course has previously hosted three U.S. Opens and three PGA Championships.
Markus McCaine, COBRA Golf Marketing Director, said: “The majors are the most significant events of the year and the PGA Championship is no exception.
“Fans get to watch the best players in the world on one of golf’s greatest stages and we wanted to add to the excitement with a new staff bag design that celebrates both the tournament and the venue.”
Though the staff bag itself is not available for purchase, a Limited Edition PGA Championship stand bag ($650) with the same design elements will be available online at cobragolf.com.
