2023 LIV Golf Valderrama Tee Times, How To Watch, Preview, Teams: Everything You Need To Know

After a month's break, the LIV Golf League gets back into full swing again this week with its 8th event of the year. This time its headed to Spain for the inaugural LIV Golf Valderrama which will be played between June 28 - July 2, 2023.
It'll be the first time the tour has made an appearance in Continental Europe and Spanish stars Sergio Garcia, Eugenio Chacarra and David Puig will be looking to make the most of the home support.
This year is the first official season of the LIV Golf League, with a 14-tournament schedule being hosted in seven different countries.
Venue
The course this week is the world renowned Real Club Valderrama located in AndalucÃa, Spain. The par 71, 7,028 yardage championship venue has played host to some of the world's biggest tournaments including the 1997 Ryder Cup.
Known as the 'Augusta of Europe' due to its immaculate presentation, Valderrama is regarded as the No. 1 ranked course in the continent.

Purse / Format
The total purse for the tournament is $25 million - $20 million for the individual event ($4 million to the winner) and $5 million for the team event ($3 million to the winning team). As per norm, the event will be played over 54 holes with 12 teams and including 48 players.

Reserve player Laurie Canter will once again take the spot on the Majesticks GC team for the injured Sam Horsfield.
It'll be the first event played since the Majesticks GC recently announced that OKX, the second largest crypto exchange by trading volume and a leading Web3 technology company, will be their new sponsor.
It is the first official global sponsor of any of the LIV Golf teams.
